May Flowers 2016

Born from May’s flower, the lily, the mural unfolds as a meditation on growth and collective gesture. Painted in May’s gentle light, each brick was transformed by hand, one “brixel” at a time, through the shared labor of community, turning the wall and a typical Chicago alley into a living field of collaboration.
