This mural was created as a surprise tribute to Don Manuel, the oldest barber in the Roma Norte neighborhood of Mexico City. Painted in 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic—when small businesses around the world were deeply affected—the work sought to bring visibility and renewed attention to his barbershop and enduring legacy.
